Meet the Team
Behind Your Training

At The Med Gym, great coaching is about more than working with one individual trainer. It's about having a team that understands your goals and works together to help you succeed.

Our Exercise Specialists share a common approach built around individualized programming, thoughtful exercise selection, ongoing communication, and personal relationships.

Our goal is to help every client become stronger, more capable, and more confident in the life they want to live.

OUR APPROACH

One Team. One Coaching Philosophy.

Every client comes to us with a different history, different goals, and a different starting point. That’s why we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all workouts.

Your training begins with understanding your goals, health history, movement abilities, preferences, and limitations. Fom there, we develop an individualized program and continually adjust it as you progress.

Although every coach brings a unique personality and background to the gym, we share the same fundamental approach:

Individualized Training

Your program is built around your needs, not a generic workout.

Coaching Relationships

We get to know you, understand what matters to you, and provide the accountability and support you need.

Strength for Life

We want your training to make you more capable both inside and outside the gym.

Team Collaboration

Our coaches communicate, share knowledge, and work together to serve clients well.

When you join The Med Gym, you’re not simply hiring a personal trainer.
You’re gaining a coaching team that communicates, collaborates, and works together to help you reach your goals.

OUR STANDARDS

A Higher Standard for Coaching

Our Exercise Specialists aren't simply people who enjoy working out. Every member of our coaching team has formal education in exercise science or a related field and participates in ongoing professional development.

We also establish shared professional standards across our coaching team. Every Med Gym Exercise Specialist is:

Trained in the Fundamentals of Medical Fitness

Our coaches complete the Fundamentals of Medical Fitness course to develop a deeper understanding of how to safely and effectively coach individuals living with chronic diseases, medical conditions, and other health considerations.

Certified in the Functional Movement Screen

Every Exercise Specialist is Functional Movement Screen Level 1 certified or higher, giving our team a standardized approach to assessing movement and helping us individualize exercise programs based on each client's movement profile.

CPR/AED Certified

Every member of our coaching team maintains current CPR/AED certification as part of our commitment to providing a safe training environment.

Many of our coaches also hold additional professional certifications and advanced training in areas such as strength and conditioning, personal training, special populations, women's health, and human performance. Combined with hands-on experience, continuing education, and regular team collaboration, these shared standards allow us to provide thoughtful, individualized coaching for people with a wide range of health histories, abilities, and goals.
